Richard Tunstall N.D. has been practicing Naturopathic medicine for over 20 years in Ontario and Alberta. After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from University of Waterloo, he worked as a therapist with developmentally handicapped children and developed an interest in looking at diet and nutrition as part of the healing process.
This led him to studies at the Naturopathic College in Toronto. Dr. Tunstall has an eclectic practice and has treated children and adults with everything from colds and flus, to more chronic disorders such as arthritis, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, cancer, chronic fatigue, and emotional problems to name but a few.
As an extension of Richard Tunstall’s belief in the inter-connectedness of food, health and the environment, he also has an organic farm in Brant County (Heart’s Content Organic Farm) that he works with draft horses whenever possible. You can reap the benefits of their labour by visiting their stall at the Brantford Farmers Market in the summer, or buying some fresh organic eggs.
