Angela Barry-Dignard was born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick. She attended Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and in 2002 graduated with concurrent Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology (BSc) and Nutrition (BSN).
She then went on to study at York University in Toronto where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Environmental Studies in 2004 (BESH). Upon graduating from York University, she then attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated from the Naturopathic Doctor (ND) program in 2010. She currently lives in Brantford with her husband Ryan and her three cats, Gracie, Seamus and Tully.
While she enjoys helping patients in all aspects of health she has a special interest in Women’s Health, Digestive well-being and Endocrine Function. She uses all Naturopathic modalities in her practice, such as Nutrition and Lifestyle Counseling, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to aid her patients in reaching their optimal health.
Dr. Angela Barry-Dignard is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). As she had completed both the North American and Ontario board licensing exams, she is now licensed with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N).
